Pastor Nelson and the Shrapnel Wound

Pastor Nelson was coming back from a worship service in the Jungles of the Karen State, Burma, when he came face to face with the Burmese Army soldiers. They started shooting so he jumped off a cliff, shattering his ankle. Then he was wounded by shrapnel from a mortar shell. It took his friends 4 days to carry him out to the nearest hospital. This is his interview, along with his wife. They are now back in that area serving the people of the Karen state.
